Station 131 is located at 175 Main Street in historic Downtown Jackson. Originally built in the late 1800's and serving previously as City Hall and even the jail, this station houses 3 pieces of firefighting equipment. Although this station is currently unstaffed with line personnel, it is routinely staffed and covered by our dedicated volunteers in the event of an emergency. Station 131 is the hub of the fire department, housing the office of the Fire Chief and frequently visited by the public.
Throughout the year, this station is used for many different community events, such as Dandelion Days, car shows, musical festivals and Christmas Delights. So the next time you find yourself walking Main Street in Jackson, stop in and say hi!
